I am 84 years old and have been a modeler for 74 years and have had the good fortune to work in the movie industry for 21 years as a model maker both physical models and 3D digital models. I was very fortunate to work at FantasyII under the direction of Gene Warren, special visual effects academy award winner for Terminator2. I worked on the award-winning television production of Babylon 5 as a Digital Special Effects Artist. When Industrial Light and Magic were in San Rafael, CA I entered a model of "The Chicken Coop Workshop" HO scale and won Best of Show. In the year of 2000, I was Senior 3D Designer for Tonka Construction II computer game for Hasbro. In 2014 I designed and entered an Electric Car at Maker Faire in Menlo Park CA and won 2 Blue Ribbons and Best of Show awards. See YouTube videos below. Before that career I was a teacher of photography and commercial art and design for 20 years in two private institutions and President and Founder of the New England Design Institute.
