42.7mm TUBULAR EXHAUST FABRICATION KIT

This fabrication Kit Includes Everything you will need to fabricate a mock up tubular exhaust manifold for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 cylinder exhaust manifolds in 42.7mm tubing with any wall thickness, and if there isn't a piece in there to your exact requirements drop me a message and I’ll add it as soon as I can.

This kit includes models with “start” and "end" in the file name, these have an 8mm hole which can bolt to a manifold flange Every bend has a start piece and currently a selection of straight pieces, with the clips then ready to start your fabrication, then there are a range of angles in 9 and 15-degree increments, with two different center line radius’. Each is also marked in increments of 15 degrees so you can accurately note the angles at which two pipes sit when translating your design into metal.

The kit contains an expander that will fit into an existing 42.7mm pipe with a maximum of 1.5mm and 3.6mm wall thickness, a start piece then attaches to this to allow you to carry on from existing pipe work, or start a new downpipe from scratch. The expander works by using the bolt that the start piece attaches with to compress and expand inside the tube, it also pulls the start piece in to make sure that it doesn’t move while mocking up. Larger systems will need added supports. It utilises an o-ring which is used to grip the pipe and also retract the clamps from the inside of the pipe.

42.7mm Expander
The expanders included are suitable for a wall thickness of 1.2mm and 3.6mm, If different wall expander is needed for a different internal diameter these can be requested.

Flange Adapters
These are universal pieces that will adapt to act as a flange in 8 or 10mm thickness and any bolt pattern. They come with varying leg lengths in increments of 5mm. A start piece can then be attached using the M8 Bolt, with the nut on the inside which is captivated so adjustments can be made without removing the adapter.
