Descrizione del modello 3D
The cruel overlords of the Anathema Hosts are a particularly powerful type of demon know as Tyrants, vile creatures who have managed to not only survive for millennia in the depths of the Abyss, but actually thrive within it, exploiting the weakness of lesser beings and refusing to be enslaved by other greater powers. Tasked with enforcing the punishments of eternal damnation upon other demons, the Tyrants of Chastisement lead the Host of Deprived Chastity, their twisted minds vicious beyond imagination, and their sadism feeding off the misery of their kin.
While they all share the same bleak purpose, each Tyrant is a highly intelligent being, and often develop strong personality traits, which usually reflect on their physical appearance. While this can manifest in a variety of esoteric weapons and torture instruments, some Tyrants choose to wear specially unruly Succubi impaled upon their backs, not only as an example for the others to fall in line, but also to infuse them with their dark powers and use their flayed skin as blood-dripping wings to fly over infernal landscapes, a most intimidating shadow heralded by the screams of those poor souls bound to it.
This kit contains the files necessary to 3D print a Tyrant of Chastisement, including the following parts:
- Main body.
- Left and right wings.
- Spikes with chains to allow for a wingless option.
- Empty left and right arms.
- Left arm with a shield.
- Right arm with a Bloodsword, conjured from the cursed essence flowing out of his cut wrist.
- Left and right arms with Serpent Revolvers, which are handled by many smaller hands splitting out of his forearm.
- Left and right arms with extended claws, made by painfully driving nails through his fingers.
This model is intended for a 50mm base as is, but can be upscaled to fit on a 60mm one as well, as shown in the last picture. I test printed it at both 110% and 120% scale, since I knew it would be convenient depending on the desired game system. I used the same pre-supported files and just scaled them up in the slicer and they came out perfectly with barely any scarring (if anything they were easier to post-process since they were slightly sturdier). Upscale the imported STL files, not the Lychee ones in which supports can still be moved, since otherwise supports can get messed up badly when you change the scale.
Changelog
V1: Added pre-supported files after a successful test print.
V2: added extra options based on community feedback from my Tribes, my Patreon and Reddit.
Impostazioni di stampa 3D
Both pre-supported .stl files and unsupported .obj files included for each piece, as well as a Lychee scene with all of them.
I printed mine in Anycubic's gray ABS-like V2 resin (water-wash) on a Elegoo Saturn 3 printer with 0.04mm layer height, 2.4 exposure time, 6>7 lift distance, 45>100 lift speed, 180>65 retract speed and 0,5 wait after lift. There were 5 burn in layers with 25 exposure time and 7 transition layers. However, these values can change significantly between printers and resins, so trust your own experience.
I test printed all the bits available to make sure the supports worked. This is a very detailed model so I recommend post-processing it with great care. The chains hanging from the wings are especially prone to snapping, so take those off the supports gently, not pulling the entire piece at once, but cutting off the supports in smaller chunks, and be extra careful with the chains.
