by swapping from PLA (red) to PETG (black) on the go, the print result turned out nicely, with the effect that you see in the pictures. *

Opinion Ahead: Overall the objective desired outcome is for the end product to be rigid and tough, for that purpose (when using an FDM 3D printer) first material of choice, PLA is advised.

*PS= when using different materials on a single print, make sure to change the nozzle temperature and possibly outflow speed to achieve a functional object.
