Just used layering to create the effect on the body, matched a friends snake as a gift for their kids.

Side note, printed a smaller version at 70%, joints were stiff for the last 2 inches of the tail, and where silk was used at the joint overhangs it failed. Reprinted at 75% and moved the silk layer away from the overhang portion, joint connection worked better (still a little stiff near end of tail).
