I'll look at it and see what I can come up with.

I was messing around in Bambu Studio, possibly the worst way to design things, I basically took the mast from your ford service sign, cut off one of the sides, merged it with the Ford V8 sign, filled in the negative space where the mast sits in the base from your ford service sign, then created a new negative space for the new post. I like the idea, but my version looks terrible.

I use Tinkercad most of the time for designing. Send me an image so I can see what you did.

I increased the Z to 3mm and added a small mast to the back. I'll post on Thingiverse.

Hello, I haven't made a BP sign but it's on my list. I've been collecting Matchbox since the early 60s. Wish I had kept all the old ones. Show us the garages you made also.

what is your time frame? I'm doing a garage diorama and need the signs please or at least the files or the knowledge on how to make it myself.

I'm not sure when, Sorry. I found a few images online that I'll try later this week. I can't promise anything. I use Tinkercad to design all my signs.

how long does it usually take to make a sign file? just curious

Depends of the quality of the image. The garage sign took about 2 hours to get right. Some take alot longer. I plan on making a video on how I convert the image and design the signs. Thanks for asking. Post a make of what you're using the signs for.

I can’t wait to download it! Would it be to much effort to make the background a separate piece so I can print the words and car in different colors without painting it? My hands have a slight tremor so painting details is sometimes difficult

I printed it last night, I think the car needs to be a little bigger. Do you have the ability to change filament to change colors?

The printer I have access to does only one color at a time but yes the filament color can be changed

your email said it was down for maintenance, anyway I wanted to thank you for your kindness and hard work and as far as the Sinclair Clock goes take your time, I'm not in a hurry for it, I myself am also getting ready for an October craft fair

I really don't make them to scale. You can try to make them a different size in you slicer.

I had that set up to slide into the slot. I'll take a look at it. It's not a raised portion, just looks that way in the photo. Time to make it easier to assemble. Stay tuned.

OK, it's really simple but, I'll redesign it, update it so you can print the base separate and glue it on. Give me a day or so, I'll message you when I update it. Sorry you're having such a hard time with it.

Certainly, It's printed using different color filament, changing at the layer each color would be. Depending on your printer and firmware and your slicing software. In Cura, after slicing it, go to preview, you'll be able to slide the slider at the right of the screen. If your firmware supports it, add a post processing script to change filament, all in Cura. If you're new, this most likley means nothing to you. I'd suggest a Youtube search, that's how I learned. I hope this helps.
