Hello, just purchased the files for the SCX6 tracks. What files is for the idlers that don't require the bearings? Thanks!

I don’t see them in the parts list. I’ll try to hop on my computer and re-upload them tonight

Thank you! I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something, I just started printing and want to print the ones that don’t require bearings. Thank you

Hey Leonard, did you have a chance to upload the bearing-less idlers? I finished all the rest of the parts last night, just waiting for the idlers. Thanks

Sorry, works been crazy, I’ll set myself a reminder to do it tonight

Awesome! Thank you

I uploaded the idler that doesn't need bearings

Thank you!!!

Hey there officially after 40 hours printing I got my first track. I did 100% info it came out flawless. I am so stoked. What infill did you guys do?

I printed mine with 6 walls, I believe that comes out to 100% infill. Glad your first one came out good!

Yeah, after slowing my printer down, it's gonna be pushing around 40hrs geeez longest print with s1

So yeah, before printing, I was reading the TPU I remember the print speeds are on the slower side so after re-slicing it at 80 mm/s 30+hrs lol this is officially the longest print I've ever done on this printer how long did it take you to print one track?

On my junky old printers I run tpu at 40mm/s so I think each track took about 2 days

Hey buddy, I found the assembly file is the hardware list and is there a list of the bearing sizes needed? Thx

There are 88
3x10x4 bearings for the idlers
And you will need 8
25x37x7 bearings for the drive sprockets

OK, I completely understand I own 2 ender 3s great little work horses printing with ABS is tricky with an open bed. Printer actually picked up and Anycubic S1 no more open bed slinger close print cabinet. I'm going to give it a go.With abs+ I'll keep you updated .. is there a list with the bearings and the hardware that will be needed?

Hello excited on this purchase downloading the files as we speak. I was thinking of printing everything in ABS+ your thoughts ? Thx Jeff

I haven’t had good luck printing abs with my old ender printers, that being said I think the durability would be great! I printed mine with esun pla+ and tpu 95a and they have held up well

Any chance of getting the step files so I can make a few changes?

Sorry, what do you mean by step files?

Cad files

Send me an email, Leonard.basiliere@gmail.com

Is there a bill of materials anywhere? Just want to know quantities of parts i have to print here.

It should be 4 of each part and 40 idler wheels

The frame plates are for left and right sides so you will need 2 of each for the left and 2 for the right. The tracks are the same front to back

appreciate the quick reply!

Salut je voulais savoir c’est tu aussi fiable de ne pas avoir les 88 bearing ?

I had the bearings installed in mine, have not tried without the bearings, but it was requested by another user

Can you make one that fits the K10 scottsdale truck?

Is it on the trail finder 2 chassis?

Yes

can you get me a measurement from the back of your cab to the last hole in the frame where the rear bumper mounts? and the height of the cab from the top of the frame just below it? thanks

Can I get one that would fit on trailfinder marlin? Short wheel base thanks

Can you get me a measurement from the back of your cab to the last hole in the frame in the rear where the bumper mounts?

7 inches from back of cab to bolt for rear bumper thanks again!

I shortened the dump bed, please let me know if you have any issues with it. I added an additional file to the download so both the longer and shorter versions are available. Thanks

Can I get one that would fit on trailfinder marlin? Short wheel base thanks

Hello, I purchased your files, is it possible for you to have a file with a track in a different shape or position? Like more rectangular or similar to the assembled track shape? My build plate is a little too small widthwise to lay it on its side haha.

My build plate is 219 x 123 x 250. So its kinda narrow. But im trying to be the 1st person to print it with really expensive rubber resin!

I will see if I can reposition it to fit your build plate

Thanks so much!

Hello, I havent heard back, but you dont need to edit anything as requested, i got it, thanks!

Sorry I never got back to you

Nice concept, could you fix the holes in the idler wheels cause they are slightly off centered

I will look into that

Ok Thanks

I checked the idler with bearings and it looks correct, did you mean the ones without bearings?

salut je vien d'acheter ton plan il est super est ce que tu pourais augmanter la hauteur des crampon a 12mm je pourais te payer merciii

hi I just bought your plan it is great could you increase the height of the crampons to 12mm I could pay you thank you

You want the lugs on the tracks to be deeper?

  • 1 me gusta

yes 12mm crampon instead of 9mm

I will work on that this weekend

good thank you even removing 1 crampon out of 2 would be for more distance

Have you broke any of the drive gears yet? Have you did any driving in 2nd gear once i get the rest done i will be testing it with over 80 pounds thanks

I have not broken any drive gears. I’m planning on running more battery packs through it this weekend. I run mine on 4s and second gear works ok. Definitely drains the battery faster then 1st gear

Yeah I use 4s as well and I can see it draining them down faster I've ran the one i have done with a drill and you can feel it's going to but i have checked and i can get the drive gears done in aluminum for just over $200 so if i break them then I will be going with the aluminum ones but I need to test the ones you came up with first
