I am 38 and a computer engineer and I work for a company testing and certifying experimental aircraft.
I got into the 3D print hobby after looking for a game insert and found this site. I think after about 20 min seeing all the cool stuff on here, I spent about 30 min watching YouTube videos and ordered my Sovol Sv01 3D printer. I went with the SV01 since it has a large bed but still was not too expensive for a noob.
My main reason to enter the 3D print hobby was to enhance my board game hobby.
