Hi, we checked the file in our slicer and it was fault free. We followed up with a quick print that worked well. I then downloaded onshape CAD design, and I see it has an issue with the rim being made of individual parts (being the rim face, sleeve and hub). I have updated the listing with 2 extra print ready files that should overcome the issue you were seeing in that program. I would however anticipate most if not all of our files that have individual parts will flag in onshape moving forward. Please keep that in mind prior to purchasing other designs. Cheers mate.

Our Standard rim files are available for the budget conscious. It typically includes one print ready rim with our standard hub attached.

Next-Gen is the same rim design only it’s also saved as individual parts, giving you the ability to customise the rim with different offsets, outer rim profiles and of course hub options for different scales.

Each advert has a list of inclusions noted to assist with this.

As the rim face integrates with the outer rim as part of the original design, I don’t believe a deep dish option is possible on this one.

Unless… maybe the rim can be redesigned slightly? Leave it with me and I’ll see if I can come up with something.

sorry for the delay in replying, I had to research what a Redcat Caprice was. I see it’s a 1/10 scale remote control. Their wheels look to be screwed on and I’d say the rears will have a hub that locks the wheels so they turn.

Our rims will need to be modified to allow them to work, but I’d say it’s possible…

The main areas you’ll want to look at is
- the center of the rim needs clearance for the axel
- the rear hubs will need separate adapters for the front and rear rims
- the outer rim will require a profile so they hold a rubber tyre

These are things we can help with.

Hey Robert, firstly , thanks for purchasing our rim files. It is greatly appreciated.

Originally the plan was to sell digital files as well as giving the option to purchase prints, however this has never eventuated.

Unfortunately I don’t have any recommendations for the US, however i know there are people in my home town (in Australia) that advertise their services on Facebook marketplace. You might get lucky and find the same.

I’m really sorry I couldn’t help more, and hope you’re able to find someone who can print them for you.

At this stage I don’t have one, but can pop it on the list of designs to complete. Have you got a specific style in mind? If you find a pic, send a link and I’ll get to it
