Hi Georg, my designs will scale to 1:35 scale file, you just need to print them at 218%. I try to add more detail than can be printed at 1/76 scale so ideal for larger scales.

Hi
I purchased the footbridge with lift build and am trying to pop the first bits together. I have printed of the righthand side to include RLB4 right steps rear side inner and right steps rear side outer RLB5 - I cannot see where they attach to the full side panel on the inner piece or indeed the outer piece?
Any help appreciated.
I have not yet printed the bridge bits .
Just looking at instructions on page 3 and item 5 says RLB4 to RLB 5 - which is the 2 small door bits but I cannot see where they go to be added to RLA1 or RLB1
Hi Chris and happy to help.
RLB4 and RLB5 are the items that go between the bridge section and the lift tower. The easier way to build is work everything around the steps CL1. Attach things that make the most sence and then see whats left. It does seem quite complex but as it goes together it gets clearer. The two door looing bits are side panels for the step section.
If needed you can contact me via facebook and we can share emails so I can help easier.
Pete
ok will print out some more of the bridge section and see how it goes. Really like your models, have printout loads of them so far for the model railway -
How did you get on with printing the bridge?
Pete
Ich hätte gerne den Tunnel in Spur g können sie es mir machen
i purchased couplings disappointed did not work very poor tried supports turning 90 with supports the 2 sections are linked so fall appart
What type of printer did you print these on?
flashforge pro pla filament
That’s because they are designed to be printed on resin printer as outlined in the description. Small detailed items are always best printed on a resin printer. FDM printers cannot print small items very well.
Pete
hi nice fwncw but missin af 45 and a 90 degrees corner would it be be posibel to make the concrete holder vhit this. so it is not just one long fence but so you can make corners,
What fence type are you talking about? I have several designs for sale. When I design things, I copy things that actually exist, or I can find actual drawings of the item.
Hallo können sie mir es auf Spur g machen
My items are designed in OO gauge, but within your slicer, you can scale them to the gauge you are modelling in
Guten Tag könnten sie sowas auch für 122,5 Spur G machen mfg
I see only 2 rail tracks in looking at your offerings. Do you do O scale? !;48 . Gary Stewart
Gary
I have added as much detail as I can i case someone wants to print them in O gauge, you can easily scale my designs up in your slicer. In the slicer print at 175% and you will get the design in O scale. I'm not sure what you're referring to in the first part of your question.

Hey Pete
Thank you..
I know I'm looking for something with a wider base like at Toton and Basford hall depot..
But I know you will do a great job..
Sorry for the delay, it's been a busy week with other commitments. Will try and have a look, have you got any links to pictures I could look at for reference.
Pete
Just to let you know I have received photos from Charlie. Will start having a look at the end of the week.
Hi Pete..
I was wondering if you could do a manual point lever..?
As seen at depots, ie DB at Totton..
Grant
Hi Grant, thank you for buying my items in the past. I have been talking to Charlie about you. I will try and have a look at this next as I'm between projects at the moment. I will need to do some research and start having a look, it may take a short while as very busy this week and next. Charlie has given me a point lever from a pack he had, so I can get an idea of shape and size. As depots have different variations of single levers and multiple levers on a small frame, I may do this as a multi-design with the different variations.
Pete
Hello, could you also put your wall panels and arcades in here for laser cutting, as this is faster than 3D printing and the laser makes it easier?
Best regards,
Thomas
I get what you are saying, the don’t have a laser printer and therefore have no idea how they work. My designs are aimed at the 3D FDM and resin market, yes the design would likely be quicker on a laser printer, a lot of people have FDM printers but don’t have a laser printer.
Pete
Good afternoon,
Just downloaded the modern footbridge with lifts. I was wondering what you used to get the brick colour on the bottom half of the lift shaft?
Kind regards
Chris
Chris
I hadn't realised the brick filament I used was missing from the list. This has now been added to the description.
I used ELEGOO Marble PLA Filament 1.75mm Brick Red (Do not use a 0.2mm nozzle when printing with this filament, it will block the nozzle as I found out the hard way).
This is my affiliate link to the Filament https://amzn.to/47REVQ7, or you can source yourself.
As a little thank you for highlighting if you use this code you will get 20% off my designs in future - PJD2023.
Pete
Hi Pete, thanks for getting back to me.
I’ll order some through your link and thank you for the code. I’ll be sure to use it when I order the middle stairs.
Kind regards
Chris
Hi Pete, we are a smalI team and we are interested in selling your railway products commercially. We have noticed that on your patreon you have a subscription for £50 per month for 70% of your products with a maximum sell amount. Would you be interested in doing a special subscription that would give us 100% of your products with no maximum selling amounts each month please Also, would you be interested in designing items for us please. If so please could you give us an idea of costing for designing. Also, we would be happy for you to sell the designs for yourself on your site. Hope this all makes sense. Hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards Dave.
Dave
Thank you for your e-mail. I have had a look and had a thought. All my Patreon commercial tiers are based on an average of 20% of any profit someone makes from selling my designs as printed items. An agreement between us would need to be based on this percentage. The biggest reason I still sell items at a discount is to know exactly what someone has bought from me, so if the agreement ends, I can see if anything from my designs is still being sold. hope you can understand that.
The £50 option actually gives you 80% off my designs and any bespoke higher value tiers; this percentage could easily be increased.
With regards to designing items, then what I can do will be limited as I do this for a hobby and a lot of my designs are done for a reason. I have a full-time job and a family that uses a fair amount of my time. Happy to look at the odd item tho, but it would be in the category of designs I tend to do.
Pete
Hi Pete, sorry for the late reply. If we were to do the £50 for 80%, what files would we NOT have access to please?
I have also sent you a private message via facebook messenger
I've downloaded the Model Railway Modern Footbridge with Lift and have a few questions / issues:
* The bridge section seems to be missing from the downloads
* I notice there are some .3mf files in there, but they seem to be mislabelled
* I can't work out where "Lift step base" goes
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks, Neil
Neil, this is now sorted, and the bridge section has been added. Sorry about that. This was a big project and quite complex to put together. Please ignore the 3mf files, they got included by accident and are used by my Bambu Labs printer. The lift step base goes between the tower cladding and the steps; it supports the bridge section.
If you have any more questions, please contact me.
Pete
That's great. Thank you for replying so quickly. I'll get the 3D printer fired back up!
I'm not sure where your other message went, but I noticed I had added two versions of the claded bottom. This is now fixed. Thanks for highlighting my mistakes. To say thank you, if you use this coupon code, you will receive 20% off my designs in the future. Code = PJD2023
Pete
Sorry - I tried again and the file seemed fine, so I assumed i'd made a mistake and deleted my message. The fact that there were two copies explains my confusion! Thank you for the coupon.
Hi. I do not have printing facilities but I am interested in your Walling in N Gauge. Is this something you can do? If so can you advise the cost including postage to ST18 0WG. Thank you.
I do not sell printed files as I don't have the time or the resources to do this. There are other people out there who may do this for you.
Pete
Hi Peter I've tryed looking for you on FB but can't find you am after a magnetic coupling for a airfix mk2 coach so the coupling needs a hole in the middle is this something you could design?
Cheers Paul at Brentlea junction
Paul I might have a look at it, would need to find a coach to design and test with. Look me up on Facebook Peter Darton from Yeovil.
Hi Pete,
I have just downloaded files again. I have checked all files in 3d and then Orca Slicer. Your models are normally perfect. What I did not check was to Flip them over. Orientation was the answer. Might be woth putting that on notes.
Thanks for Help it made me look more closely.
Malcolm
Hi Pete,
I've downloaded the "model-railway-brick-wall-slope-add-on-component20250930-1-kqcuto" on cults3d. On loading two heights of the slopes they are the same direction i.e. 40 left and right are the same so are 60 left and right, I have not checked the others. Can you help and advise.
Regards
Malcolm
Malcolm
Sorry if you have an issue, I will have a look when I get home later from work and update you once I have had a look.
Pete
I have had a look and checked files on website and visual view is correct, I also keep on my computer all the files that I upload and these are also correct. Maybe worth downloading again, I did notice you purchased these back in February. If there is a issue then this might help, its a coupon to get 20% of any of my items in future (Coupon Code = PJD2023)
Pete
Hi Pete,
I've downloaded the modern foot bridge, but on inspecting the instructions it looks that the STL files for the drain pipes, parts F1, RF2 and F3, are missing.
You have some great designs, by the way. Thanks for making them available.
Cheers,
Rowdy
Rowdy, really sorry about that. I have now added them, and you should be able to download them now.
If you have any more issues, please feel free to contact me.
Pete
I downloaded it ok but unable to open the file,I’m having trouble with two other items with the same problem so won’t bother perusing it
On your computer you will need to uncompress the files and you will be able to use all the STL files.
Pete
Just a idea no one has designed this yet bachmann station toilets might bring in some extra pennys Pete i be very intrested for my station
Bachmann Scenecraft 44-115A
It’s a good idea of something to do but I just can’t go and copy the Bachmann version, ideally I need to model from the real thing. Any ideas on where there is one of these and maybe I can have a trip sometime.
Pete
Hello, is it possible to print this design with PLA ? I have a anycubic kobra 3. Thank you for your attention. Louis
Louis, the way the message got sent to me it doesn’t say what design you are talking about?
Pete
This is to print this project .DESIGN 1657945. Thank you. Louis
Took a bit of finding as items are not listed with item no, Luckily items are in numerical order. The irem your looking at can be printed with a FDM printer, will need supports when printing and will need supports properly removed after you have printed.
Hello, thank you for your reply. Printing with support is fine. Thank you.
What size vacuum pipe nem sockets did you use on your carriages
I have used different lengths depending on what type of coach I have fitted them to. If you let me know what make and model of coach you have, and if I have any of the same, I will let you know what size I used.
Cheers mate I have mk3 carriages hornby and Lima
On my Hornby MK3 coaches (HST), I used the 10mm version. Hornby coaches can vary a lot, so no guarantees.
Pete
Hey Pete
I downloaded and printed one of your wagons a while ago have only just got round to putting wheels on it the ones I got was HO scale and are loose and don’t fit the bogey was wondering what ones you have used yourself if u don’t mind me asking
My wagons have been designed in OO scale, which is slightly bigger than OO if you buy some OO scale wheels, they will be fine on HO scale track, as OO rolling stock uses HO scale track.
Hi Pete. Bit of an issue with printer . Waiting now for a replacement part . Hopefully arrives sometime this week . Will update you when i have printed it all . Thanks for asking . Happy new year to you , and thanks for all your excellent designs
Chris
