what slicer are you using? I am not familiar with vase mode. I am fairly new with 3d printing. Thanks for the help!
I use Cura and I suggest you checkout some Youtube videos, there is a lot of information out there.
I followed all your settings, but can't get the hole in the bottom, please advise.
Christmas tree
in order to keep the hole in the bottom you need to have 2mm of bottom layer (5 layers with a 0.2mm layer height). I hope this helps.
i like your vase and I attempted to print one. While I was looking at the file, it seems to be a single, solid piece. How can I make this solid piece a functional vase?
You need to use spiral vase mode (it might be called something different depending on your slicer). Print with 5 bottom layers, 0 top layers, and 1 continuous outer contour. I hope this helps.

Heyho, this is a beautiful vase (number 5) .
The watermark on the underside unfortunately ensures a great waterfall despite 10 layers on the floor.
Is it possible to get the models for money without deep watermarks?

Hi Rene, thanks for the interest in my work but removing my name makes me very uncomfortable. If you are using more than 5 bottom layers and still have leaking there are other issues going on. Try reprint it with thicker layer widths and heights (maybe 0.6 and 0.3 mm respectively) or better yet a wider nozzle (like a 0.8 or 1.0 mm) Good luck.

Hi! I love your telescoping chess set design! The pieces all came out beautiful, but I want to make some suggestions for the case if this is something you're still working on.
I cant seem to get the small clips to print reliably. The stress that they go through while attaching/removing has caused all of mine to snap. I've even tried different printing orientations and different layer heights.
I'd love to see a hinged version. Print in place hinge would be awesome, but either way. Also, I think it would be convenient if there was a wider case that held all the pieces, rather than two small cases.
Food for thought!! I'd even buy the file if you posted it separately. Everything else is awesome!

That is interesting about the clips, are you printing them with the flat side down (on their side)?
If this doesn't work I can try to upload a thicker version or an image of the suggested orientation.
