Hello Chris, thank you very much for your message.
I use 16mm worm cabochons. You will find all the information to make the lenses and also the necessary materials in the description section. I hope I have helped you.
Dark Fred
Merci !
You're welcome 😉
Bonjour!
Fred
Hello Paolo.
Thank you very much for your message, it makes me very happy.
To achieve the metal effect I paint my helmet with an aluminum-colored paint.
Then I apply graphite powder with my finger and polish with a cloth. For dirt I use sienna pigment. I hope
I was able to help you.
Have a nice day
Fred
Hello Dark Fred Creations!
I really like all of your creations. You are so good and they seem so real!
I would like to ask you a question about your STAR WARS CITIZEN HELMET , FALLOUT , STEAMPUNK , HALLOWEEN helmet: Do you have a tutorial about the painting method that you use to simulate metal colour?
Thank you very much :)
Paolo
Bonjour,
Très beau travail. Quelle est la technique de peinture utilisée pour les Bot Can I, III, et Vintage?
Merci beaucoup ;-)
Bonjour,

Hi, thank you very much for your message and for your purchases😊😊. The robots are made to fit on a 33 cl slim can of Coke. If you want to adapt it to Pringles cans, you just have to change the scale. You can use your slicer for this. If necessary, here is the formula to complete the percentage. (Pringles diameter + 0.3mm) divided by (Coca slim diameter) then multiply by 100.😉
I love the designs of the can robots! Are they also compatible with Pringles cans? If so I plan on buying some of the designs ASAP 😁

Thank you for the quick response! Are you planning on doing more can bots in the future? Love the designs!
Do you have any more designs? My son and I really like the designs that you have and have purchased 3 of them so far. Awesome designs! Thanks
Hi, thank you very much for your message😊 and thank you also for your downloads. I have created 6 Bot Can models ( two of which are free) . You will also find other droids ( vintage and gardener where you can grow plants). I put you the link to all my articles. Best regards. Quick question, I think one of the files in the STAR WARS CITIZEN HELMET , FALLOUT , STEAMPUNK , HALLOWEEN is duplicated. Meaning the back half, or quarter of the helmet is the same piece for both sides. I had to mirror it then print. Unless I did something wrong. By the way great design, I will be purchasing another model to make. Thanks!
Hello, you're right. I mistakenly put the same part twice. My apologies. I'll replace it with the right part. You'll receive an e-mail telling you that you can download the file for free. Or you can mirror the part. Sorry again. Have a nice day. Dark Fred Creations
I just have to say I am EXTREMELY impressed with your beautiful ~retro style here... in your "Can robots"... I have been looking around for countless hrs over the last week or so for a cool project to make, and these really stand out. Kudos for such impressive photos of them as well. Your paint jobs are absolutely incredible...very inspiring!. I am really excited to print some of these out for the back yard :)
Had a thought... you have the bot with the open "Plant" area... What about a RAT as a pilot...driving this thing.. I dunno... maybe immature of me to mention it, but you really have something with these things. I just gotta say there's going to be an LED go into the eye socket as well... it's just gotta happen :) Well done, thank you and I will inevitably end up getting them all :) Cheers!.
Hi, thank you very much for your message. It makes me very happy that my work is appreciated. It's a good idea for the pilot. I've just finished printing the Bot Can NutCracker, I'll add the pictures when I'm done. See you soon and thanks again. Dark Fred Creations
Hey Dark fred, just a question on your licencing terms. You have "You can't resell STL files, but you can sell what you printed." on some of the robots but not all, can you confirm if this is true for the vintage robot or not?
Hi Chipp3h, thanks for your question. Indeed you cannot resell the STL files but you can sell what you have printed (because not everyone has a 3D printer). I forgot to put this license term on all the STL files in my shop thanks for pointing it out.
Hello, i have bought your STAR WARS HELMET TROOPER CUSTOM STL file, and i was wondering if you had any size information on the finished product.
Thanks
Hello, thank you very much for your purchase.
Here are the dimensions of the helmet finished in milimeter and inch.
Width 214mm / 8.42inch
Height 276mm / 10.86inch
Depth 286mm / 11.25inch
I added a photo in the helmet description with more measurements.
Have a nice day.

Hello
I took the Vintage Robot from you.
A question, is there a problem with the dimensions of the legs?
Normally the rounded part should come against the body according to the photos and it does not touch because it is much longer. (Part in red on the photo)

Thank you Best regards
Hello, I'm really sorry. I got the wrong parts. Will link to the correct parts tomorrow. Sorry again
Ok Thanks it's good I got the new files and it's good it's perfect.
Hey, I managed to modify the helmet. Hope you like it. I sent it to you by email
Thank you for your order. Yes of course. I can reduce the thickness. I can email it to you tomorrow. Just give your email so I can send it to you.
Hey, sorry. If I reduce the thickness it weakens the helmet because of the details and it risks making a hole when you print. If you want to make a bevel at the vertical part where the visor will be (the green part on the picture)
I am assuming the issue is above the t visor opening?
Hey! I just downloaded your "Custom Mandalorian Helmet" Curious if it would be possible for you to make a small adjustment for me? Could you make the thickness around the visor a bit thinner? If not I understand.
Thank you for your order. Yes of course. I can reduce the thickness. I can email it to you tomorrow. Just give your email so I can send it to you.
Thanks! d.a.bradberry@gmail.com

hello I bought your model STAR WARS EXPLORER HELMET , FALLOUT , STEAMPUNK and was wondering if you had any recommends on what type of supports to use.I tried the normal support but the print hangs on it on the edge and breaks it off,,was wondering what you think is the best,,thanks
Hello, thank you for your order.
For helmet printing, I recommend the use of organic supports. With a 0.2 mm gap between the support and the object.
I hope this helps.
Best
