hi i have just reprinted everything and the ciontainers fit together but for some reason the screws do not fit and when i re size them to fit they just break in half when trying to put together and pull apart this could be an error on my part but no matter how much i fiddle with the infil type and density they are still fragile at least when i am using them, i appretiate the quick reply previously but on my side it is not working out that well and again i am finding myself use more in filament cost trying to make it work than what the file costs.

Hi! I’ve just reprinted the model to test everything, and the bolts fit perfectly as long as their size isn’t changed. For my test, I used 15% gyroid infill and 3 perimeters (walls) — you can try the same settings, they should help with strength and assembly.

Also, I updated the file so the bolts are now separate and solid (monolithic), in case you need to rearrange the parts on the build plate. This applies to the Funny Sci-Fi Container Gift Box.3MF file.

It sounds like your computer is automatically opening the ZIP file with Bambu Studio, which makes it look like the file is a Bambu format. But don’t worry — inside the ZIP archive there is an STL file, and it’s fully compatible with UltiMaker Cura.

Please try this:

1. Right-click the downloaded file.

2. Choose “Extract All…” (Windows) or “Open With → Archive Utility” (Mac).

3. After extraction, you should see the STL file inside the folder.

If for some reason the file didn’t download correctly or the STL is missing, I’ll gladly re-upload the model or send you the STL directly.

To open the model in UltiMaker Cura:

1. Launch UltiMaker Cura.

2. Go to File → Open File(s)…

3. Select the .stl file you extracted.

4. The model will load into Cura normally.

If the STL file did not appear after extraction or something still doesn’t work, I can re-upload the model or send the STL file directly to you.
And of course, if we can’t resolve it, I can issue a refund.

Hi, I just repacked the archive from rar to zip. It seems that the rar format is less popular and there could be problems with it. Please write back and let me know if you were able to unzip and open the file in UltiMaker Cura. Thank you

Please make sure your build plate is clean and fully degreased before starting the print.

I also recommend reducing your print speed to about 50% of your usual speed. This gives the filament more time to adhere properly to the bed.

Make sure to keep the brim on both the outer and inner sides of the model.

If the issue still happens, feel free to send a photo of the first layers — I’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot further!

You can also try increasing the bed temperature to around 70°C for better adhesion for PLA plastic

Sorry for the delay — I was waiting for an email from you and suddenly discovered that it had arrived a while ago but ended up in my spam folder. Thank you for your patience.
The issue is very easy to fix: you simply need to rotate the blue part of the box by 90 degrees so that the green areas on the black and blue parts align when folded. I’ve attached an image with an explanation as well.
