I had some detailed sanding work to do while refinishing my Cedar Deck and wanted to save time by attaching a Pole mounted to my Orbital Sander.

I designed this to accept a standard pole used for push brooms and paint rollers. I used this to work with standard band clamp / hose clamps, to attach it to any Random Orbital Sander that takes 5-inch diameter sanding pad. My Orbital Sander housing measures 3-inches (75mm) in diameter, so I used a 10inch (250mm) long hose clamp to attach it to the orbital sander.

This print will produce a standup Orbital Sander, that will walk away from you if you let go of the pole, and can cause harm or personal injury - use with Orbital Sander at your own risk. I accept no responsibility for damage or injury from this 3D print

I used ASA resin printed on a Voron 2.4 printer with 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer lines. This design is very strong and robust. Some clean-up may be needed for the threads to work with a pole.
