3D 模型描述
This is an O scale (1:48) model of a typical midwestern, brick power substation used to house electrical equipment for trolley systems back in the day. The model is designed in multiple parts to facilitate printing on various printers. The prototype shown was printed on an Elegoo Saturn. Also included is a model of a Rotary Converter, a typical piece of electrical equipment found in such a building. The building is (LxWxH) 4.9" (124.2mm) x 6.5" (164mm) x 4.7" (119.12mm) .

It is recommended to print this on an MSLA (resin) printer to capture the fine brick detail. I recommend orienting the building parts with the cornice facing down, as shown in the photo below, to minimize the supports needed. The windows can be tricky to print so I have included an stl file that has all the support that I used to successfully print mine. The wall section labeled 'Substation Wall 5x2 rep.stl' will need to be printed twice. The windows and doors are inserted from the rear.
Update: If you have a large enough printer, you can print the two sidewalls in one piece. I have added the stl's for this labeled: 'Substation Wall Door Combined.stl' and 'Substation Wall Windows Combined.stl'.
Update: I added a file for a transformer frequently seen along side such a substation.
