En Japón, los tres monos sabios representan un dicho popular: Mizaru, Kikazaru, Iwazaru. Ver (sin maldad), oír (sin maldad), hablar (sin maldad). Para aquellos que no estén familiarizados con la filosofía oriental, esto puede parecer un no al coraje civil. Y, sin embargo, la máxima significa lo contrario.

El proverbio se remonta al filósofo chino Confucio. Hace unos 2.500 años, abogó por la benevolencia y el sentido moral. No te dejes influir por el mal, mejor aún, evita el mal por completo para no contagiarte. Sin embargo, esto no significa que deba mirar para otro lado cuando otros necesitan ayuda, ¡al contrario!
