Hi fellow maker,

This is a highly detailed 3D model ready to be 3D printed of the city of Austin.

The area represented corresponds to approximately 8km2 in reality. The model was subsequently divided into 16 tiles each one measuring 15cm x 15cm. Once the print is finished you can finally combine all the sections together in order to create a fantastic 3D model of your favorite city.

A simple idea aimed at reducing the nostalgia resulting from the impossibility of being able to travel due to the restrictions from Covid-19; whether you decide to hang your original 3D city frame on the wall, place it on a table in your living room, display it in your office or give it to someone you care I hope that in contemplating it you too can feel at home again.
