Hello! Your gargoyles designs look great - planning to buy a few. Just curious if you would take any requests for other characters? Looking for talon specifically right Bow

  • 1 Mi piace

Hi! Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. Yes, I can make Talon for you with no problem. For this kind of custom request I usually charge $10. If that works for you, I can add him to my list and get started soon.

Awesome, thanks for getting back to me - I’ll let you know, there might be a couple others I’d be looking at so I’ll get back to you when I figure that out

  • 1 Mi piace

Thank you for your interest! When you know which ones you’d like, just let me know.

Thanks for your time and quick reply, your solution worked :)

  • 1 Mi piace

I'm glad it worked! Thanks for your support 😊

purchased file but cannot open windows asays it is too long

  • 1 Mi piace

Hi!

I just downloaded the file again to test it and it worked perfectly on my side. The download size is 9.7 MB and the file opens normally.

It may be a temporary issue with the Cults download system or the browser. Please try downloading it again, or try using a different browser if the problem persists.

Let me know if it still doesn’t work and I’ll help you sort it out. 👍

The destination path is too long. Rename the Compressed (ziped) Folder and try again. This is the message I continue to get

  • 1 Mi piace

Hi!

The files themselves are fine — the ZIP is generated automatically by Cults when users download the model.

The error “destination path is too long” usually happens on Windows when the extraction path is too long.

Please try extracting the ZIP directly to a short location like:

C:\Temp

or

Desktop

That normally solves the issue immediately.

Let me know if it still happens and I’ll be happy to help 👍

Hello,

for sure I will try to provide you some Information, the files were printed using chitubox pro on a Elegoo Saturn Ultra Printer, resine. If you leave me an email can upload the sliced file/project file or pictures. I had this issue indeed months ago with amorpheren cults file. Maybe I can reactivate another slicer like lychee to do some further Investigation.

  • 1 Mi piace

Thank you for the additional details.

I don’t work with resin printers myself, but many users have successfully printed my models in resin without reporting similar issues. Since the STLs are fully closed and solid meshes, this may be related to how your slicer is interpreting the geometry.

I would recommend checking the hollow settings in Chitubox or trying a test slice in another slicer like Lychee to compare the results.

I hope that helps, and please let me know if you notice anything specific.

Best regards, Retro infinity

Hi, thank you for creating this wonderful figures ? May I ask a question ? Would it be possible to offer solid stl‘s especially bases ? I print them a miniatures and this would make them more robust,

all the best,

Edgar

  • 1 Mi piace

Thank you for your message!
All my bases are fully solid, but they are custom scenic bases.
Are you looking for a simple flat standard base instead?

Hi, yes so far all bases were solid, i‘ve recognized this yesterday during printing the Neverendind Story set wir some of the characters lize the snail and the sone eater, the horse and the wolve was solid, thank you so much for replying!

Thank you for the clarification!
I’ll double-check the models you mentioned (the snail and the Stone Eater) to make sure everything is properly solid.
I really appreciate you pointing this out.

I’ve just double-checked the models in Bambu Studio and the STLs are completely sealed and solid meshes. There are no hollow parts or internal cavities in the files.

I’d really like to understand what might be causing this on your side, so we can make sure this doesn’t happen to other users as well. Could you let me know your print scale and slicer settings (infill %, wall count, etc.)?

Thank you again for pointing this out — I really appreciate the feedback.

Just a quick update — I’ve created a free pack of generic solid bases in different sizes (both round and oval).

From now on, I’ll include these as alternative base options in all my packs, so users can choose between the scenic base or a simple gaming base depending on their needs.

Thank you again for your feedback — it really helped improve the overall experience.

Hi do you do a package price for all the fraggle rock models please?

  • 1 Mi piace

Hi!

Yes, I’m open to a bundle deal for all the Fraggle Rock models.
Feel free to send me an offer slightly below the current total price, and if it’s reasonable, I’ll be happy to accept it.

Looking forward to your proposal 😊

Hi,
I am looking to prin figures in 1/220 for some scenes on a model railroad. Did you try to print them that small?

  • 1 Mi piace

Hi,

To be completely honest, 1/220 (Z scale) is extremely small for standard character figures. At that scale, a human figure stands only about 8mm tall.

Here is how I see it depending on what you are planning to print:

For Human Characters: If you use an FDM (filament) printer, the nozzle is simply too big to capture any detail, and you will likely get a shapeless blob. If you use a high-resolution Resin printer, it is technically possible, but the limbs would be as thin as a hair and extremely fragile to handle or paint.

For Large Structures/Buildings: If you are looking to print buildings, large monsters, or scenery props, those work much better at 1/220. They have enough volume and thickness to print successfully on both FDM and Resin printers.

Are you looking specifically for the characters, or are you interested in larger scenery elements?

I printed small Figures in this scale before, so I think I will give it a try. ;-) By the way the only way in this scale is using Resin. I was thinking of Asterix, Obelix and some romans. But Iam missing a roman wearing a shield ;-)
My intention is to make small spots on the model railroad showing some scenes of movies or tv-series I like.

  • 1 Mi piace

That makes sense, thanks for the explanation 🙂
For 1/220 scenes like the ones you describe, resin is definitely the only realistic option for characters, especially human figures. Even then, proportions usually need to be slightly exaggerated to survive printing and handling at that scale.

Right now my workflow is focused on standard collectible scales, so ultra-small figures like 1/220 aren’t something I’m actively producing. That said, I understand the appeal of micro scenes on model railroads — it’s a very cool concept.

If at some point you have a very specific idea or a single test piece in mind, feel free to let me know and we can see if it’s technically viable.

  • 1 Mi piace

IT works. I need just some adjustments on my printer and I can reach the size

  • 1 Mi piace

At 1/220 scale a human figure is only ~7–8 mm tall.
At that size, standard character models don’t work just by scaling down.
Figures must be designed specifically for Z scale, with reinforced proportions and simplified geometry.
My current models are not optimized for that use case.

Gracias.

I just bought gargoyle Elisa Maza! Looks amazing! I've got another suggestion too you might like if you're open to it

  • 1 Mi piace

Sure! If you already have a list of ideas, send it my way and we’ll get through them much faster 😄

  • 1 Mi piace

Monster Cosma from OK K.O. is already done, and I’ll be uploading her very soon 👀🔥
I’m also preparing a new improved version of Elisa Maza with some refinements, so that one will be coming shortly as well.

Thanks again for the suggestion — feel free to send more ideas anytime!

  • 1 Mi piace

Just bought monster Cosma! Another idea would be Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin from Yu-Gi-Oh GX: https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Neo-Spacian_Aqua_Dolphin_(character)

  • 1 Mi piace

Thanks a lot for the purchase and for the new idea — I really appreciate your continued support 😊

  • 1 Mi piace

Just to clarify for future requests: the $3 price is the standard public price once a model is published on Cults.
For custom commissions, like Cosma and the ones you’ve requested before, I usually work with a higher commission price, since they’re made specifically on demand.

No problem at all — I just wanted to mention it so we’re aligned going forward 👍

Also, Cults notifications sometimes arrive a bit late, so for future commissions it’s much faster if you contact me directly at:
retroinfinity0@gmail.com

Thanks again, and feel free to keep sending ideas!

I just bought Neo Spacian Aqua Dolphin for $10! Looks great! Another idea I have is future Fink from OK K.O.: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/lakewood-plaza-turbo/images/9/94/Older_Fink.png/revision/latest?cb=20200129170545

  • 1 Mi piace

I just bought him for $10! I love how he looks! Any chance you can do a full version of him in the future like where the clothes, hair, and knife are separate? Would be cool to be able to customize him.

  • 1 Mi piace

Thanks for the suggestion! I’m glad you like the figure 😊
At the moment I’m not planning a fully modular version, as separating clothing, hair, and weapons would require a complete rework of the mesh.
What I can do in the future is alternate versions of the character (different outfits or weapons) as print-in-place figures, which keeps them print-friendly and consistent with the current workflow.
Thanks again for the support and the idea!

How much would a full model commission of him cost? Like with full meshes of the body, clothes, hair, etc. and T-posed

  • 1 Mi piace

Thanks for asking! 🙂

At the moment I can’t take on a fully rebuilt T-posed model with separated meshes, mainly because of the time it would require. Projects like that take several days of focused work and would pull me away from my current production queue.

What I can do is create alternate versions of the figure in different poses, outfits or with different weapons, always as print-ready models and consistent with the existing collection. If you’re ever interested in that kind of variant, feel free to let me know.

Thanks again for the support and for reaching out!

  • 1 Mi piace

I guess I'll request a no clothes version if I'm able to do that. Maybe with his mouth open yelling or something like that.

  • 1 Mi piace

I can do it, but just to be clear before moving forward.

If your idea is to edit the model afterwards, I can include the FBX or OBJ files (which are better for editing), and I’d also include the STL for reference or printing.

Before I proceed, I just need you to confirm exactly what you want:
– Kamamitachi in T-pose?
– No clothes?
– Neutral base anatomy?
– Any specific facial expression, or neutral?

Once you confirm the exact setup, I can work on it.

  • 1 Mi piace

Yeah, fbx, obj, and stl files would be great. Yeah, no clothes, T-pose, neutral anatomy, give him exactly the same expression as the first model but have his mouth open. If you can do a bald version too in addition I'll pay $20 or whatever you think is a fair price. My goal is to pretty much capture the look of the first model you did of him.

  • 1 Mi piace

That works for me 👍

I can prepare it over the course of today, no problem.

$20 is perfectly fine.

I’ll keep the overall look consistent with the first model, and I’ll include the STL, OBJ and FBX files as requested. I’ll also add the bald version.

I’ll let you know once it’s ready.

  • 1 Mi piace

Hi! I’ve finished your custom request and everything is ready.
I hope it’s genuinely useful for your work and fits well into your workflow.
If you need any adjustment or an additional version, just let me know. https://cults3d.com/:3933449

I'll be honest, it looks nothing like your first model. But I'll still honor the payment.

  • 1 Mi piace

Totally fair, and thanks for being honest.

Just to clarify why it feels different from the first model: this version was built strictly as a neutral editing asset.
The T-pose, lack of hair, clothing and props remove most of the silhouette, tension and character cues that made the original version feel more expressive.

If you add the hair back, change the pose, and include clothing or weapons, you’ll essentially recover the same character identity from the first model.
Structurally it’s the same base, just stripped down for flexibility and editing.

Hope that helps explain the difference a bit better 🙂

  • 1 Mi piace

And just to add one more thing — if this isn’t what you were expecting or doesn’t work for your needs, no worries at all.
I can issue a full refund right away.

Nah, don't worry about it man. I have another idea instead. How about his brother Yosenju Kamaitachi/Yosenju Kama 1: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/yugioh-arcv/images/3/30/Ep_31_Yosenju_Kamaitachi.png/revision/latest?cb=20160507113649
