Description du modèle 3D

Comme l'a déclaré Thomas Sanladerer dans son excellent (assassinat) test de l'Artillerie X1, la protection électrique globale peut être remise en question.
Sur la Genius, comme sur la X1, le câble AC a tendance à se plier toujours sur le même point et une fatigue peut survenir à ces points: le point d'origine et le centre de la plaque de construction.

Cette chaîne est faite pour cela.
Ce qui est fourni:
- STL pour un support permettant de maintenir fermement le câble du heat bed;
- Fichier STL pour un connecteur à brancher derrière la Genius;
- Fichier STL pour les maillons de chaîne avec des dimensions spéciales;
- Fichier STL pour le même maillon avec Logo Artillery pour les fanboys les plus geek.
- Fichier STL pour des ressorts pour sécuriser les liens et le câble qu'il contiennent
- Instructions de montage.

Vous pouvez choisir de conserver le silicone d'origine ou non.
Je pense si vous avez déjà ouvert et fait sauter la garantie qu'il est plus sûr de l'enlever

L'installation doit être facile et peut être effectuée sans ouvrir la machine, préservant ainsi la garantie, si cela vous préoccupe.

Certains beds des dernières versions sont nouveaux , et il semble qu'alors le cable AC est placé différemment.
Si cela vous arrive et que le support ne rentre pas, contactez-moi avec une photo vue de dessus du bed avec une règle posée dessus. Je referai un nouveau support pour vous rapidement.

Comme vous pouvez le voir, je demande de l'argent pour cette conception.
Il m'a fallu plusieurs jours pour la terminer et cela m'a coûté du PLA pour la raffiner.

Je suis un peu fatigué de voir mes créations vendues par des personnes qui ne respectent pas la licence CC.
Si vous considérez que cette conception et ce travail ne valent pas la peine de me payer un café, utilisez FreeCAD et faites la vôtre!

Hello JP, Just published the make, hope this could help you to take your design perfect, as I said now for me is working, Another thing is that due to the bigger length and the weight of the cable tends to bend a bit more than on the genius, my first try was taping 2 links with scotch tape and the bending angle reduces, so on the second try I sliced 2 links fused together on cura and print it, so a double size link could help reducing the bending angle in some points you can see on the pics.

Yes, it would definitely help if you can post a picture from top of the printer with the support installed, and some kind of a ruler with millimeters on the bed, so that I can measure directly on it .
The next iteration of the design would thus be close to perfect!

Hello JP, this time is almost perfect,I installed it and it is working, I can point 2 things to make it fit right, the distance from the edge of the bed to the cable should be 5mm less, and the bed cable support could be a lil be larger to be closer to the edge of the glass like on the genius, right now there is a gap like 10mm from the edge of the glass to the piece that supports the cable, If you want I can post a Make with the photos of the X1 to show you. Tell me if that could help you.

V5 of the new support is now uploaded, double checked, and was sliced in Cura 4.8 : no more issues, plus, a little bonus it should print perfectly without any printing support!

Hello, I think a bad fillet caused issues.
I removed it and this file should work better. Sorry fro the inconvenience, I'm not at home with my printers.
Just check it slices correctly, but it should this time.

Bonjour JP, thanks for the stl, but I dont know if I had any problem downloading the file, but when I sliced it with 0.2 layer height, it shows a blank space between lines 84 to 95 so I printed but the part that holds the cable starts to print in line 95 so starts in the air and the print fails, can you try to slice it ,to check if shows you the blank space that I mentioned.

Hello JP, this is an update, I printed the support and tested on my X1 and the support fits ok at the beginning of the bed cable, just that is not need for bending the cable, so just a flat angle would be fine for making your design compatible with the Artillery Sidewinder X1 v4. Hope this could help you.

Hello JP, thas you for your response, almost everything fits ok, the only thing that doesnt is the ACDC support, because the output of the cable from the bed is aligned with the output from the base box, so the bending angle is not necesary like in the Genius does, So from de edge of the bed to the cable are 58mm , pretty much like the same distance like on the Genius bed,I'd really like to have the same with your design for being able to connect it with your drag chain.

Hello. I don't have the X1.
Is the X distance between the output of cable on the base box and the bed cable attachment comparable with the one on the Genius?
Is the diameter of the hole on the base comparable?
Is the support for the bed cable compatible according to the larger bed?
If you send me some information, I could work on it, and provide an adaptation.

Hello, do you know if this design will work with the Sidewinder X1 V4, I got it on my Genius and it works perfectly, but now I want to install it on the X1 :P

I won't argue too long with someone with a protactor in its eyes, its too risky (and I think it is 108,8°, not 110°)...
The angle between two links can't be superior to 50°, and I designed them to minimize the strain.
for instance I did not use my usual alternate link design to make sure they all participate to limit the bending, but according to the existing wire length available and total bed movement, which is by design too short, I agree.

Does your bed move -220 -> 0 on every print?
I seriously doubt about it, but I was transparent and showed that worst situation on the gif.

It is the point : not changing the existing electric wires, keeping your warranty.
My printer runs like that since I uploaded the model, I feel better about my safety, according to what I saw on Facebook, and before on my printer.

Some people do things and make proposals, some people are always prone to provide advises or criticisms.
I've chosen my side long time ago. ;-)

In your own gif 2 or 3 links up the chain from the motherboard box you have the cable doing a 110° bend inside the chain , the issue isnt from your design like you think i meant , it was nonattack on your design i was trying to point out the factory cables are too short for the actual y axis , i dont need to bjy or install something extra to point out the main flaw of the printer itself

Looks like you did not install it sadly, and that on contrary many people did and liked it or thought it was useful... ;-)

looks like it has the exact same issue as stock sadly :P people will need to replace the cabling between board and bed to make a safe bend repeatable
