Hi Dear Sir,
I just downloaded your scrooge / Dagobert Duck Model where he is jumping in money, unfortunately, it is not printable and also I can't auto repair it. I tried both in Cura 5.3.1 and SuperSlicer for M1 MacPro. It shows different faults like not beeing watertight and also some message that it contains over one million triangles per part (in 5 parts in total).
Could you please tell me in which program you got it to work, or please refund because it is not printable, I use a self built Voron 2,4 and I print 3D for over 4 Years now.

this set has already been printed a very large number of times by myself and my community; I can therefore assure you that it is perfectly printable.

I test all models before they go on sale, if it works on my old ender 3 pro, then I think anyone can do it.

I myself use cura with a macbook pro m1 pro and it works perfectly.

Hi, recently I purchased you yellow submarine model. I intended to use my Bambu x-1 carbon to print this out in multiple colors (vs hand paint the model)

However upon trying to do this the areas aren’t defined enough to be able to do this.

To try and set this up manually will take me forever, (in example, the 3 color “fans” on each side of the conning tower took several hours each and they still aren’t perfect!!) so I was wondering, are you able to define all the models edges?

I don’t know if what I’m saying makes any sense, but just as an example, with the periscopes, they have 3 colors and while I can set up the main color (yellow) if I try to “paint” the lens and bezel different colors, the entire piece changes to the color I’m currently trying to use.

I don’t know if this entails a lot of work to do this, but unfortunately I don’t possess the skills do do the necessary adjustments on my end.

If you can’t do this I understand, but if you can, I’d really appreciate the help!

If I could press you on one other thing, you split the “cloud” into 2 parts, would you be able to make a file where it can be printed in one piece? Just the cloud as it is now but just connected into one piece, I’ll still print out the separate items to add to the cloud.)

The reason I wanted this done is because I wanted to use a special variegated green filament (“Sea of green”) and printing it in 2 halves won’t allow the colors to match up, if that makes sense.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Vinnie

Bonjour,

Hello, Sorry but my models are not designed to be multi-base materials. As I paint them once printed, I don't need to set up this function. Yet I know that a maker has made on a prusa a version with several colors. Maybe you can get closer to him to find out more. Have a good day.

Hi, great model you have! Can you provide me with the dimensions please? (Approximate is fine. I just want to get an idea on how big it is.)

Also, I’ve never bought a model from this site. If I do purchase it, how long would it take to obtain the files? Thanks for your time! -Vinnie

You print in the size you want, you just have to keep the same magnification ratio for each piece.

Once purchased, you will have access to the files instantly and indefinitely. If I make an update as it has already happened, it will be free.

Hello I have a little problem printing on the top of the base, I do not know why all the other parts have been printed correctly, except the top of the base which makes a separation in the middle is this normal? I printed it in 3 times with different positions and each time it made me like separation supports in the middle of the stones.

can you leave a positive message on the product page? it will help me and future buyers :)

With flipped normals, the shield printed beatifully! I am in process of priming and painting & will post a few pics once complete in the main thread. Thanks again!

Thank you for your feedback, I'm curious to see your result once you're done!
Thank you for your feedback on the normals, even if I am surprised, it is something that I check regularly ...

Thanks for the quick reply.

I have a SLA printer, so Cura doesnt work for me.

I did a bit of investigation just now (cancelled my previous response, as I essentially answered my own question). The shield has flipped normals! So I did a quick edit in MeshMaker and now it renders fine like all other pieces of your amazing diorama. I will print it now and see if I can get it out.

But might be worth in your end flipping the normals on the shield and reupload in the zip file.

Have a beautiful Sunday and stay safe!

print it with cura without any support, it's working very well.

Hi Foxgraph - I've bought your Obelix and its really great printing. But I do have problems printing the shield. Pulling it into MeshMixer or ChituBox it just shows up very "blurry" and printing produces nothing. I cannot make supports either.

Any hints?

Hey foxgraph,Your designs are really nice. You are really excellent designer. I wish i can get your email info!, hope I'll be in contact with you.
