hi, where have your Metal Gear figures gone?

Don't worry, these figures are undergoing maintenance; they'll be back soon with improved articulation and a better price.

I was actually just coming here to ask about a possible fix for the articulation on the MSX Snake figures arms, glad to hear that your updating all of them cause i was really wanting to buy the Naked Snake one!

Thank you for the updated R2!

I just posted an update today, now your purchase also includes a body version with the decal integrated, in addition to other improvements!

Hi,
I have tried to 3d print the base separately and the extras together. Each time I have had to pause printing and when I continue the print, the print starts over? It will not continue where if was left off. Are there any suggestion you can offer? I am newer to 3D printing and am not sure what is going wrong.
Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out and for giving the model a try!

What you're describing usually happens when a 3D printer can't properly resume a print after being paused. Unfortunately, not all printers or firmwares support resuming prints, especially if the machine was paused manually or experienced a connection issue.

Here are a few tips that might help:

Try to avoid pausing the print unless absolutely necessary. Many machines restart the G-code from the beginning after a pause.

If you must pause, make sure you're doing it directly from the printer's screen and not from the slicer or computer interface.

If your printer supports "Resume after Power Loss" or similar features, check if they are enabled in your settings.

For complex prints with multiple parts, you might find better success printing each part one at a time to avoid long sessions and the need to pause.

Don't worry—this kind of thing is totally normal when you're starting out, and you'll learn quickly! Let me know what printer you're using and I can try to give you more tailored advice.

Happy printing and thanks again for your interest in my designs! 🛠️✨

Thanks for the reply. I pause frequently with the machine and have never had an issue before. The base is also a 35 hour job so need to be paused and can’t be done in parts. I tried the base and other pieces both attempts failed when paused. I have been printing for about a year and this has never happened to me before.
I have redownloaded the files and am attempting the base again.

I’ll let you know how it’s goes but if it’s another failed attempting I’m not going to waste more filament or risk the machine breaking.

The machine is an Ender -3 s1 plus
Thanks again

This design will have a detailed review in the future, but I can give it a quick review possibly tomorrow, some of my older designs have the problem of being very heavy... I think it's possible that this influences it in some way, I can solve that soon and I will even think about pre-cutting that base so that it will be easier to print for everyone.

your works looking great ..was wondering can you just make a diy figure of a male and female 5 points no detail just the figures male and female Diy meaning a templates I teach students in 3d print and how to model and using it and if you're willing to do a just male female DIY I can have the kids make 3d prints of their selves and I think it be a good project for them ..ill also credit you and make sure people know about what you do and products everybody in my class likes your work .so now i want to see if they can model from a pic of their selves would be grateful and would pay for it thank you

Hi! 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words—I'm really happy to hear that you and your students enjoy my work, that means a lot!

I love the idea of a DIY-style male and female base figure for educational purposes—something simple and clean that students can customize. It sounds like a fun and meaningful project, especially for learning about modeling and 3D printing.

While I can't commit to a specific timeline right now, it's definitely something I'd like to work on when I can free up some time. I’ll keep the idea in mind and if I manage to prepare something, I’ll be sure to let you know first.

Thanks again for reaching out and for the thoughtful message—and please say hi to your class from me! 🙌

Hey there,

I had ordered good ole' Chewbacca a while ago and saw you made an update. When I try to download the new one from my order invoice, it just says Content Missing. How do I get the new version?

Thanks and appreciate the new chewy, looks great!
Shawn

Hi Shawn!

Thanks so much for your message — and I really appreciate your kind words about the updated Chewbacca!

I'm not sure why the file is showing as missing on your end, but let's get that sorted out. Could you please send me a quick message on Instagram so I can assist you directly? (Link in my bio)

Thanks again for your support, and I'm really glad you're enjoying the updates! 🙌

Hi! 😊
Thank you so much for your kind message — I really appreciate your words and the passion you’re putting into your build! I love hearing that you're experimenting with scaling and materials — that black with gold sparkles sounds absolutely amazing, like deep space! ✨🚀

Please consider opening an Instagram account (or any social media you prefer) to share your photos — it would be awesome for the community to see your take on these models, especially at such an impressive scale! I'd be happy to reshare your work and give it a spotlight if you tag me.

And thank you again for mentioning that the issues were scaling/support related — that kind of feedback helps a lot, and it means a lot to me.

Can’t wait to see that finished Moff Gideon head! 🔧🖤

Hi! are you going to re-upload the MGS figures? i'm interested in buying some of them, at a reasonable price of course. thanks!

Don't worry, those figures are under maintenance, they'll be back soon with a better articulation system.

great! thanks again

I hope you come back and finish the mcquarrie figures. I plan on buying the full set when you get done. Han, chewie, r2, stormtroopers, lando, boba, yoda, girl luke. so many options. Great work!!

I'd need your help compiling those illustrations and other visual material for each character. It takes me hours to find references. If you'd like to help me with that, my next characters in that series will be Chewe and Leia. If you're able to gather some visual references, I'd appreciate it if you could send me that material via Instagram. (Link in my bio.)

I was actually the first person to make customs of mcquarrie's star wars stuff back in 1999 and 2010. They were 6" I have all the reference photos already saved in folders. I will gladly share them. I have bought probably 3-4 dozens stl files from you over the years.

You seemed to have blocked me on instagram. I have never left anything but positive comments anywhere and stayout of negative posts and post wars. Feel free to email me at my website same as my user name here if you would like the material.

Thanks and take care.

HEY :)

SUGGESTION for your SW CONCEPT collection: Princess Leia and Lando Calrissian concepts from the same painting :)

thanks!

I can't find it, can you send me a link with the reference?

Those are the only two McQuarrie illustrations/references that exist (that I know of) for that version of Lando and that version of Leia. I gave you all there is :)

Hola, excelente trabajo siempre.

Gracias

Sí, gracias.

Mcquarrie Rules (just bought the vader!)!!!! awesome! maybe in the future we could have some Frazetta inspired figures? (Conan, Fire & Ice)?

I searched on Google but found too much information. Do you have a specific art in mind?

just search for ''frazetta fire and Ice characters'' or even better watch the movie, it's great!
McQuarrie instead, part from star wars, he did the first battlestar galactica:

Thanks for the suggestions!

hi you asked for ideas how about the acolyte and skeleton crew they be nice ..good work love all your models thanks keep up the good work

Thanks for the suggestions!

Hi there any chance you can do a vintage jabba the hut play set arm rest and bong holder .

In fact, I have that set here in my gallery, it's very good although it's a bit difficult to print.

I like the old school monsters from the 50s and 60s the best. I haven’t seen action figures from Them! Or Manthing. Something not so commercialized and hard to collect.

Thanks for the suggestions!

lost my download folder. could i please get access to the models i bought from you?

Hello, thanks for your message. You can download your purchases whenever you want. Go to your profile and find the "Your Purchases" bar. There you'll find everything. By the way, I went to your profile and I can see all your purchases. I noticed some of my horror designs, among others. Thank you for your support in purchasing my designs. Do you like movie characters? Is there a character you'd like to see in an action figure?

Hi there, thanks for the reply..
The Cylon Centurion would be a must.
An Onion and perhaps the Cylon Imperious Leader.

Originals are very hard to find so I think 3D scans would sell quite well 👍🙂

Thanks for the suggestions!

Hi there, quite simply I freakin' LOVE your models, and the fact that you allow the updates to be d/l at no extra cost shows a generosity lacking in the STL design world.

Have you ever thought of doing the OG Battlestar Galactica figures??

Of course, I think I have an alien figure from that series of figures somewhere, it seems like a short series, and talking about "making a remake of that piece" is the perfect excuse to make the other characters, which characters would you most like to see?

Hi! I’ve purchased several of your Kenner Star Wars figures and they’re excellent. Can you model the capes (like for Obi-Wan, Leia, and Vader) molded to how they would appear when they are worn? Thanks.

I found this website that has all the cape patterns for these figures, I hope it works for you: https://toypolloi.com/index.php/shop/star-wars/category/24-cape-patterns

thanks! I follow Dave (toypolloi) for years now!

C3P0...
Brother! Where is the body???? I've got heads, arms, legs... no body to put 'em on!!

LOL! Thanks for letting me know. It's already uploaded. Go to your shopping cart and you can download it for free from there.

Hi! so I downloaded the updated Leia, but where are the two interchangeable capes that you mention?
Awesome detail btw!

Hello, I'm so sorry, but while I was writing the description and explanation of the design, instead of using the translator, I used GPT chat to translate what I had written... I didn't realize that feature was added... But it's a good idea. I think I once saw a cutting pattern for those pieces. I'm going to look into it. It would be nice to have it. Give me time.

Would you ever put your Metal Slug files back up? : )

I'm currently working on a new series of 3.75" Metal Slug figures with 4 points of articulation, these will take the place of my old models, and will also include new characters, enemies, vehicles, and more!

Thanks for the responce! I specifically ask because i had saw your Tarma one (or a post about it) was gone, but the Marco one was still up, and i had interest in printing the Marco. Looking forward to the new ones though!

Hello:

I love your files and have purchased a few. Which of your models have the head configuration like your Scout Trooper/R5D4 with the larger pin in the head. I am interested in any of your Star Wars files that do not use the separate head pin

I'm currently re-editing those older works, so please let me know which pieces you're interested in, in addition to those that already need updating.

X/Y/B wing pilots, Greedo, C-3PO, Vader

Thanks, those pieces will be next on the list.

I’ve bought one of your Star Wars Kenner models before, so I know that the figures are designed with articulation, but I was wondering if you Kenner Star Wars Speeder Bike model was designed with the play functionality. I have you Boba Fett model that has the design for the rocket firing. I wanted to know if the speeder was designed with the exploding function and such. Thank you. Great work.

No, in fact that ship requires a re-editing, only the pieces can be separated, but it does not have the classic function.
