This is my personal modded version and my way of sharing features/ideas.

I always ended up coming back to this fan duct =)
Even though I personally didn't like the angle of the front fan, as it blocked the view.
When the LED mounts were added, that was great.
So I started to tinker a bit in Tinkecad and managed to get the front fan angled to my liking.

I use 3mm LEDs, so I added a bit more length to the LED mounts to keep the light from shining to the sides as thats annoying and added an inner ring to keep them in place a bit better.
I also "removed" the wiring holes so I can remove the LEDs without needing to keep the solder iron handy.
I also made separate rings for the LEDs that fits inside the LED mounts and makes the LED even more stable since these 3mm LED has a way to wobble inside.

I removed the "connection" between the cable-tower and the top fan mount, so the top fan cover fits better. It was easier than redoing the fan cover.

My todo list:
1. I dont realy know how the BLTouch cable is supposed to be routed. Currently I route the cable through the big hole on the side, but it is not easy to get the connector through that hole, so I will just extrude an extra opening that is open towards the backplate so the cable will just slide in.

  1. Add hooks for the cable routes on the back for LED-wires, no holes.

I power my LEDs via USB.
I found a guide you can use -
I built mine with the same idea, and I connected the extra LED in parallell.

The important things to know
Supply voltage: 5V (Via USB in this case)
LED data: 3.6V, 25mA

With that information you can get the value of the resistors you need.
In this case you need a 56 ohm resistor (or higher value close to 56), well two for each LED.

What we have to work with in this example:
1x USB cable, connecting this to a power source will give you 5V.
2x LED - 3.6V, 25mA.
2x 56 ohm resistor (or higher, close to 56)
Wires to connect everything with.

Choosing the LEDs will be up to you, some sell packages with 50 pcs or 100 so beware of that.
The original design is supposed to work with 5mm LED and he linked to

I used 3mm since I had that left from another project, I got them from
Its a Swedish shop, but it has the info if you want details about the 3mm LEDs. Note that the 3mm ones will need some support in the mounts.
