I designed this stand for my iPad 2, which has an Otter Box case. Some of the stands out there don't seem to allow room for the added thickness of a case. It works fine with a Nook or smaller tablet as well. It's 4.75" (120mm) wide. It allows the tablet to sit at about 30 degrees or 60 degrees (portrait or landscape orientation). It is pictured as printed with ABS in 3DPrinterNinja Dark Blue.
The Triangles Tablet Stand makes a great gift item, especially for people who aren't squares.
The two side pieces can print together on a 140mm x 140mm table. I printed the crossarm separately, but it might all fit together on a slightly larger machine. The ends of the crossarm have a tapered triangular block that fits snugly into the matching triangular holes in the side pieces. Have fun!
(This was modeled in inches. My printer adjusts automatically when I load it, but if you find it looks very small when you load it to print, then scale it up appropriately. 25.4mm = 1 inch)
