Hello, yes you can sell your prints, but please be honnest and tell that you're not the designer, and don't abuse on the price, it's just small pieces in plastic for fun 😉

Hi!
I'm trying to print your Lego Pencil Pot and I came across a problem that you can maybe help me.
I have a Prusa MK3, only one colour at a time. So I printed the monochrome head, and afterwards I printed the faces with supports.
They do fit correctly, but its widht is very big, so the eyes of mouth have a huge relief.
Is it possible to have the black eyes & mouth, the white teeth, and red tongue on a file but with a smaller width so i can glue it on the head and have a nice finishing?

Maybe you can share with me the original file and I try to do it myself? I tryied with the stl opening it in Fusion360 and when converting to mesh it's not an easy problem to solve for me. Thanks!!

Thanks a lot!! Well, don't want the pieces to have much altitude against the head. Maybe 2mm may for the black parts and 1.2mm for the white and red parts? I'm not really sure about this though. We need white and red not to transparent any yellow and fit inside the black parts that are inside the monochrome head. Black shouldn't exceed more than 1-1.5mm of the head cilinder. But I'll be happy with whatever your decision is, we are doing this for some friends of my son, we are very happy with it. Trop bon!!

Hi, I've added the modifications in the original model via an update. So you'll need to download again the model: the parts are in a new folder. The parts are separated between the 2 differents models of smiles: and for each they are also separated by colors. The black parts are 2mm width, and other are 1,2mm. I've put the smiles in one lone stl files and also in differents parts (by eyes, eyebrows, etc...): I think it can help to reduce the supports needed. But it's also more complex, I've to admit that I was few time confuse with all these parts :)!!
Hope it will be clear because I didn't tested the print. Keep me inform if it's OK for you!!
And also, if you're interested, I've upload a keychain version of this head in Cults ;)
I can give you the original parts, no problems but only by personal email.

Wow!! Thanks a lot, this is exactly what I needed! I won't be able to print this until tomorrow afternoon, but I'll share the results with you to see if any modification has to be done as my numbers were not precise in any way. If you don't mind, it would be great to have the originals (gerygg@gmail.com) and try to tweak them until they are perfect. I'll give them to you afterwards so you can upload them in your post too. I'm no expert in Fusion360, but I'll do my best. I have some ideas to make this a little bit better for the assembly aswell. Merci!!

Bonjour et merci pour les commentaires! J'espère que les impressions se sont bien passées. J'ai regardé un peu pour Beta et Furiosa, si j'arrive à les faire ce serait du même principe que les lettres: à plat avec du relief pour faire ressortir les détails, car je ne maîtrise pas assez la modélisation pour faire des personnages en vrai volume 3D. Mais pourquoi pas, il faut que j'étudie le sujet :)

Bonjour, je vois que vous avez imprimé "Monsieur a" avec la canne à droite, mais quand je télécharge le .stl, la canne est à gauche. Existe-t-il plusieurs versions du personnage ? Si oui, comment obtenir le bon. Cordialement.

Bonjour et vraiment désolé pour la grossière erreur du "a" sur les alphas, merci de l'avoir remarquée!!
Je crois que j'ai dû m'apercevoir de l'erreur au moment où je l'ai faite, et je l'ai rectifiée en utilisant le mode miroir de mon slicer (Cura).
Et au moment où j'ai publié dans Cults, j'ai totalement oublié de modifier le stl...
Donc j'ai ajouté la bonne version dans Cults ce soir, mais si vous ne voulez pas télécharger à nouveau le fichier, vous pouvez utiliser cette fonction miroir qui doit être sûrement disponible dans tous les slicers: dans Cura, il s'agit de l'icône à gauche situé juste en dessous de celui pour la rotation, et ensuite vous cliquez sur la flèche de gauche ou droite.
J'ai fait cette manipulation ce soir pour modifier le fichier (j'aurais pu modifier entièrement le fichier 3D source, mais ça aurait été plus long).
J'espère qu'il n'y a pas d'autres erreurs sur les lettres, auquel cas je serais bien obligé de venir dans votre classe pour une petite leçon de rattrapage ;)
(étant dans la Nièvre, ça fait un peu de route, donc je croise les doigts pour que tout soit OK !)
Petit conseil pour la mise en couleurs des lettres, je dispose personnellement de beaucoup de filaments ce qui a donné la couleur de base, mais pour les détails, nous avions commencé avec de la peinture, mais finalement ça a été beaucoup plus facile et pratique avec des feutres (de marque Sharpie ou équivalent).

Bonsoir et merci pour votre message, ça fait plaisir d'avoir des retours très positifs des créations.
Pour la peinture, j'utilise de la peinture à l'eau basique en mettant plusieurs couches si nécessaire. Certains Makers ponçent la surface pour avoir un meilleur rendu mais j'avoue que ce n'est pas ma spécialité. Pour les lunettes c'est ma maman qui peint beaucoup mieux que moi qui a réussi à avoir un meilleur rendu en ajoutant quelques paillettes.
Si vous êtes intéressée, l'année dernière j'avais fait des logos Octobre Rose à coller et visser sur des casquettes : succès garanti !

Bonsoir, j'aime beaucoup ce que vous faites, bravo, moi je débute, alors je pique les impression 3D en attendant de savoir faire aussi un jour..je devrait participer pour la première fois à octobre rose cette année, si tout va bien dans ce monde .......COVID. j'ai donc téléchargé vos lunettes, j'adore, mais quelque chose m'échappe, avec quelle genre de peinture peignez vous ? merci pour votre réponse, et encore BRAVO.
