Thank you for your V6 shield. I find that this version is much better suited for a 1-size-fits-all application due to how flexible it is. It is also quite a bit lighter.
My wife works in an ER. They are short on masks and face shields. I am printing a number of these shields for use in her ER. Looks like I will have a constant print cycle occurring for who knows how long....until the supply chain can catch up to the demand.
I am waiting for a shipment of clear binding covers and elastic to be able to make the final shields. I mocked this up using some mylar sheets that I once used in one of my plotters.
Perimeters: 10 (sort of a 100% infill approach).
1.5mm layer height, 0.2mm first layer.
Print time: 3:18 hours.
