VW Pickup Body for 275mm wheelbase Gelande II chassis

I set this body up to fit on my Heavily Modified Gelande II chassis using the stock Body mounts but it should be easy enough to fit it on a stock chassis as well.

My chassis has a motor relocation, Lay down servo mod and rear cantilever suspension. With these mods I could clear room for everything needed but with a few cuts of the interior it will fit over the motor and servo. And for the rear you wither need cantilevers or 2 cuts in the bed for the shock towers. I no longer have a stock chassis so cannot say exactly what would need cutting.

Light buckets were designed to use a certain flashlight setup for parts but I can no longer find them at the discount store I got them from. Again I am sure this could be easily modded to fit other lights. the rear and flasher lights are setup for 10mm LEDs, this give a nice vintage look.

Windows are cut .5mm polycarbonate.

These are fairly small trucks in real life and adjusting it to the Gelande chassis brings it to about 1/8 scale. Tires I used are 4.19 tall. you may be able to go slightly bigger and still not rub but not much.

Some parts of the body are screwed together and others glued using CA glue and a Styrene/M.E.K. mix for filling and strengthening.

I later added a V8 and Bed located Radiator in the rear by cutting an opening but this is not part of this STL.

Your settings and material choice.
PLA is ok for not so hot climates and PETG for hotter areas.
