This is an Update of the first model:
Here is the hulk of my brother´s final Project of naval engineering of the Technical University of Madrid. This is a tanker vessel with 75000 death weight tones. He has designed with rhinoceros, then He has used the Maxsurf software to calculate all hydrostatics parameters. This vessel has been designed to carry petroleum REFINED product with 0,8 density.The real dimensions are:
L= 225,7 m
B= 38,6 m
D= 18,5 m
T= 12 m
Cb= 0,84
I hope somebody can use this model to print it and enjoy with my brother´s hard work. If you have anytime, print it and incorporate a propeller and put it to SAIL .
Printed in a Prusa I3 Hephestos. PLA 1,75 mm. 92ºC; 200 mm.
The structure Section is very interesting. Enjoy it!
