3D model description
Worked on this turtle boat with my 8 year old nephew. We started with the idea that the legs could be hallow legs and learned that with a taper and a curved boat body that more water would be displaced and that our boat could take more weight. Our final model we had to print at 75% size to fit on our printer and could hold up to 10 pennies. We are hoping that at full size that will be 10 nickels (or more). We tried 5 versions before adding eyes and finalizing our design.
