3D model description
My first draft of a minimal design for a case and driver electronics for a STS-5 (CTC-5) Geiger-Müller tube. It is based around an Arduino Nano clone which drives a 0.96" OLED display, a standard 5mm LED and a 12mm Piezo buzzer. The system is powered from an 18650 Lithium Ion 3.7v cell, which is charged and boosted for Arduino use by a TP4056 board. The STS-5 tube requires low current 400VDC, which is provided by a HIA4V1 DCDC step up board, powered by the same 5v as the Arduino.
BOM:
18650 Cell - These can be salvaged from many sources.
