3D model description

Crescent shapes slide to adjust for different width spools.
Can also accept different diameters from 174mm to over 200mm.
Designed to be printed without supports.
Uses 4 15x6x5 bearings
4x M3 x 18
4X M5 x 10mm
4 X M5 T slot nut

So far this setup has never tangled or came off the spool.

3D printing settings

I printed then in PETG with 20% infill. No supports

I provided the base in one piece but suggest printing in two to not have to sue supports. You just need to assemble it afterwards with M3 screws and nuts. I think they were 22mm long.
