3D model description
A project I did in my 3D printing class during my last semester at Rochester Institute of Technology. I worked with a partner to come up with the idea to create toy figures for kids that had interchangeable parts. I was tasked to design a robot.
I went with a retro-themed robot because of their quirky, fun designs. I like to think of it as a call to simpler, classic times.
The intended idea was that each figure would have color-coded body parts. Blue for the head; Purple for the body; Yellow for the arms; Red for the legs; Green for the back accessory. This way, the parts can be mix-&-matched with the parts of other figures, or the head can be placed where an arm should be...There are no rules to what's right or wrong!
