3D model description

This design is a 3D model of a research vessel. Even though this model contains a lot of detail, it is completely printable using less than 50 grams of PLA. It is the perfect model to display on your desk or to show off to friends. This model does require supports; however, they are very easy to remove. This model prints in two parts, which can be glued together.

3D printing settings

This boat should optimally be printed at 0.1 layer height for maximum detail to show. Infill should be around 15% - 30% and there should be at least 0.8mm of shells so the model is strong. This model can be printed at smaller sizes, but the larger the boat, the more detail will show.

Supports are recommended.
