This is a high resolution scan of an orangutan skull from my personal collection. I have many hours in scanning and processing a real Orangutan skull for this print. I have included the original sized skull with the jaw, if you have a large enough bed. If not, I have included the skull sliced in half and inserts that you can print and line up the two halves. You may have to resize the inserts by 1-2%, depending on your printer, but they should be snug to perfectly align the halves. This is how I printed it. Be sure to sand the lip down, prime and paint it. Results are pretty amazing. Save hundreds of dollars for this replica of an endangered great ape, great for education or personal use.
Please post a photo to share if you print this, and check out my other scans of skulls and bones at http://www.thingiverse.com/dricketts/designs.

I printed this in PLA at 200 microns.
