3D model description

The two extensions are modelled to fit perfectly on either side of the Nicot hive base.

15° slope.

This makes it possible to screw a board 42.5 cm long, 8.5 cm wide and 1 cm thick.

This enlargement makes it easier for the bees to settle down to bring in their crop. Because the take-off and landing area is too small, the bees tend to end up on the ground rather than at the entrance to the hive, tiring more to get back up and possibly losing some of what they have harvested.

I just added the same parts but by interlocking the board, without screws.

3D printing settings

1.75 mm diameter wire.

200° nozzle

Bed 50°

Layers 0.2 mm

Fill it to 100% to ensure the strength of the system.
