A replacement plunger tube (A046) for the Llama MicroMax 380. The original injection molded piece is prone to breaking or wearing, leaving the safety inoperable.
3D printing settings
PETG (mostly for longevity outdoors)
0.4mm nozzle @ 0.12mm layer height
Print laying flat
Post-processing required (unless your printer is literally perfect).
The left side of the tube (screw holes down) is smaller so the plunger does not overshoot. Finish it to 2.1mm (#44). Must be less than 2.5mm (#38).
To finish the majority of the tube, go in from the right side with a 2.5mm (#38) drill bit to a max depth of 22.6mm (0.89in.). You can line up the hole measurement part of a caliper and use it to push the bit into the chuck.
You can also finish the screw holes with the 2.5mm (#38) bit.
