3D model description

This is the Gear Drum Adapter for Goedrum GHC Hi-Hat Controller. We have shown it on our Facebook page. It allows to use the Goedrum controller with low volume cymbals (top and bottom hi-hat) in order to get a better natural playing.

Files Included:
- GD-ADPGHC_Base_v1
- GD-ADPGHC_Pusher_v1

The 10mm Tube can be 3d printed too, but we highly recommend to use a metal (steel or aluminum) Tube (OD 10mm, ID 8mm) in order to prevent any breakage over time.
The 10mm Tube length (L) should be calculated as "L = 32 + B" where B in measured following the instructions below:

3D printing settings

We have only ever printed the parts in Z-ULTRAT (ABS material). Settings and orientations we have used on our Zortrax M200 printer are shown on the attached photos.

Similar settings you can use on common 3d printers are below:
Temp: 260 °C (depending on the ABS you are using)
Max Print Speed: 70mm/s
Perimeter Speed: 33mm/s
Infill Speed: 46mm/s
Base layer Speed: 10mm/s
Platform temp: 80 °C
Infill: 50%
Rafts and support were used on any parts.
Layer height: 0.19mm
