3D model description

Small decoration wind turbine with vertical axis. At standstill, the blades are open wide, which gives it a good starting torque. When the wind is strong, it closes again to limit the rotation speed and support a very strong wind. At the base I wanted to turn a small dynamo to make electricity, but I couldn't find a dynamo of the right size.

3D printing settings

Mounting material: 1 threaded rod M5 per 140mm for the axle and 24 soft air ball of diameter 6mm for the bearings.

Printable with a 0.4mm nozzle in PLA with a 100mm by 100mm platen. The paddles are to be printed in full, the other parts can be printed with 20% fill.
