I never found a fidget spinner model that could support all kinds of combinations of ball bearings and hex nuts. I have lots of different ball bearings and wanted a spinner model that could be adjusted and that would allow for a wide range of combinations. Regarding both the amount of weights, the type of weight, the size of the ball bearings and the weights etc.
I also wanted a custom text on the spinner and a nice box to have the spinner in. So I made this model. Measure your ball bearing and weights. Choose your text, enter the values, generate the model and print. The box is automatically generated and perfectly made for your customised spinner.
If you use hex nuts as the weight you have to measure them as shown in the image.
I have limited the model by using sliders. If you feel adventurous you can download the code and play with it in OpenSCAD.
The included "Spinner-22-8-7.stl" with center pads, box and lid is a standard 3-arm spinner for 22-8-7 mm ball bearings.
