3D model description
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is an American bomber plane, one of the best representative of the WW2.
This model was made with CATIAV5 and printed on a DAGOMA Discoeasy200 in PLA [Photo soon].
If you have any doubt or problem, send me a message or an email at : firstname.lastname@example.org.
To assemble it, like the other models I made, I melt the assembly faces of two parts with a lighter, stick them together and when it's hard enough, I use liquid glue on the assembly line.
For the painting, I used posca, spray paint and spray varnish (two layers).
For the weapons, I used a solid electric cable (not a multiple wires one).
3D printing settings
No support exept for the parts :
"Complete" if you print it in one part.
Layer height : 0,15mm
Nozzle diameter : 0,4mm
Material : PLA
I advice not to rescale the plane, exept if you want it bigger, the propellers are at the minimum size with those parameters.
