This bistable compliant mechanism was developed by the BYU Compliant Mechanisms Research group (compliantmechanisms.byu.edu). This model shows the bistable behavior that can be achieved by using a single print compliant mechanism.
The model can either be 3D printed or milled.
The BYU Compliant Mechanisms Research Group (CMR) involves students and faculty who strive to make an impact by creating compliant mechanism theories and applications that are novel, used by others, and make a difference for good.
