Universal Spool Holder - Universal Spool Unwinder

Hello,

I offer you this universal reel unwinder suitable for small to large reels available for home use. (250gr , 750gr , 1kg , 2,3kg , 8kg.)

The kit is composed:

• a pair of 8" diameter steel bar fasteners

• a pair of trolleys

• of a batch of 8 small cones

For a pair of trolleys, a set of cones must be provided.

For the number of pairs of carriages (and cones), it will depend on the length of your steel bars.

Hardware required:

• 2 steel bars of the same length (minimum 300mm for 3 small or medium coils, 500mm for 2 large coils) I recommend 500mm for more ease.

• 4 screws M3 16 or 20mm (for a pair of carriages)

• 4 bearings 623ZZ (3x10x4mm) (for a pair of trolleys)

• 4 linear bearings LM8UU (for a pair of carriages)

Except for bars whose length depends on the number of coils and their weight, the rest of the hardware is to be multiplied according to the number of pairs of carriages.

For a better stability in use, it is recommended to fix the dispenser on a stable surface (holes provided in the side brackets), and/or on a board with rubber pads, for a transportable dispenser.

This Universal Unwinder is a personal project, which took me a lot of time to conceive and realize, that I offer you for free, the whole under a relatively open license to whoever will ask me for it. And yes, free doesn't mean that it's worthless and that it's possible to do everything. Free always costs someone something.
