3D model description

Recently I've upgraded my 3D printer from CTC i3 Pro B to a P3Steel frame variation (3mm thick steel sheet) and as having problems with tangling filament, I've designed a simple spool holder that can be made with the smallest quantity of filament also keeping the whole thing strong.
So, to make this holder you will need:

  • 1 x Spool holder 608 bearings.stl
  • 2 x Upper hook.stl
  • 4 x Frame Bracket.stl
  • 1 x 120mm M8 threaded rod
  • 2 x 300-400mm(or as long as you want)
  • 2 x 608 bearings
  • 8 or 10 pcs of M8 nuts

Bare in mind that the Frame Brackets are made for 3mm thick frames, so if you intend to use for other thicknesses you shall design your own brackets.
Also, the Spool holder 608 bearings.stl is designed for spools with internal hole diameter bigger than 65mm.
