3D model description

This thing is part of the rLab unified dust extaction system that connects a scheppach HA-1000 up to the dust extraction. It accepts a rLab unified dust collection fitting version 4 and clips onto the scheppach's intake port.

In order to use this design you'll need to download the files for this thing, the V4_fitting.scad file from the rLab unified dust extract system page, and the threads.scad library file version 2.2 by Dan Kirshner which is available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1938150

It connects to a section of 50mm ID PVC flexible hose, hot-glue is quite effective at securing the hose into the fitting

Electronics Engineer from Reading with some Mech.Eng. training. Mostly doing 3D printing for work making assorted parts for high-voltage assemblies but also designing and printing random items I find useful. Strong preference for keeping the entire toolpath open-source but will use commercial software where it's really needed.

I also do a lot of 3D design work for rLab, Reading's hackspace to help with maintaining the supporting the equipment and keeping the building clean.
