3D model description
This is a replacement heat-gun holder for ProsKit SS-969B Adjustale SMD Rework Station. Mine got melted by accident, when the device was switched on with heat-gun out of the holder.
Holder has two magnets, which when sensed by the heat-gun, should normally turn the heat off. That didn't happen in the accident case as heat gun was out of the holder with the hot part touching the plastic.
After printing the main part, remove two rectangular magnets from the holder being replaced and install it in the main part from the bottom in rectangular holes (mind polarity. Either note it while removing from old holder, or check that the heat gun shuts-off the heat when placed in the new holder). When magnets are installed and polarity is checked, plug holes with two printed plugs.
3D printing settings
I have printed it in Black PLA at 110℃ and heated-print bed at 55℃ . 3 shells, layerheight 0.15mm infill 20% (rectiliner). No raft, no support needed.
