3D model description

Hi everybody! I'm a new user and that is my first design product on this website. I have the pleasure to present you PRECISION CALIPER DIY. To make this caliper you must have printer in a not bad condition. I printed this product on my Ender 3 Pro with no any uprgrades!
To make precision caliper you must have only (available at any DIY store):
- 2 screw M3x25,
- M3x16 with concical head,
- 3 nuts M3,
- 2 washer (you can also printing them).

- unit mm,
- accuracy +/-0.1 mm,
- resolution 0.05 mm,
- measure lenght 110 mm.

Update 03.02.2022:
- I prepared more loosen parts and atached them in zip folder (use it only when you have the problem with not smooth movement in your caliper, from this folder you can use for example only 'sleeve' or wheels or all the parts),
- I added a new fotos :)

3D printing settings

Every of parts I printed with this settings:

  • Material: PLA

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm

  • Nozzle: 0.4mm

  • Infill: 20%

Total Build Time: ~6.5 hours

Total Filament: ~0.032kg (~10 m 1.75 mm)

I use support only in 'linear sprocket' and 'dial'.
