3D model description

This is a One way valve deisgned to work with vinal tubing with an external diameter of 11 mm and an internal diameter of 6.5 mm, the sphere has a diameter of 7.1 mm.


The Body of the valve is perfecly straight forward but be carefull because inside there are 45° overhangs and you have to have a printer which is capeable to deal with that.

The sphere has to be printed to the maximum resolution of your printer!! it is really critical, in my case I printed it with 0.05 mm layer height. Import 2 sphere in your slicer and then lower them into the build-plate by the radius (z offset = - radius / -3,55 mm) so that you end up printing to semi-sphere that you can glue together afterward with some CA glue.

If you need to use this with a tube with a diffrent diameter, just write me in the comment the inner and outer diameter of the tube you need. I will upload the valve with the dimension you asked.

I've deigned this in Solidworks and I've included in the files all the solidworks file and parameters so you can modify to fit your need, Just open equations.txt and modify the parameters
