3D model description
This thing is part of the rLab unified dust extaction system that connects a drill press up to the dust extraction. It accepts a rLab unified dust collection fitting version 4 and attached to the column of the pillar drill.
It's printed sections with a main body that attaches to the column of the drill press using 2 clamps and an M8 Bolt, a series of segments to form the hose and a nozzle for the end of it. This design borrows heavily from Marius Hornberger's Flexible Segmented hose design and is compatible with it
In order to use this design you'll need to download the files for this thing, the V4_fitting.scad file from the rLab unified dust extract system page.

Electronics Engineer from Reading with some Mech.Eng. training. Mostly doing 3D printing for work making assorted parts for high-voltage assemblies but also designing and printing random items I find useful. Strong preference for keeping the entire toolpath open-source but will use commercial software where it's really needed.
I also do a lot of 3D design work for rLab, Reading's hackspace to help with maintaining the supporting the equipment and keeping the building clean.
