3D model description

Hello,

For those who are concerned, I offer you chuck jaws for wood lathe!

PLEASE NOTE THAT I CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENT THAT MAY OCCUR WHEN USING THIS TYPE OF BIT. I AM NOT ABLE TO GUARANTEE THE SOLIDITY OF YOUR PRINTING PROJECTS. IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE MATERIAL USED, YOUR FILLING %TAGE, ETC...

THE WOOD LATHE REMAINS A MACHINE TOOL WHICH CAN BE DANGEROUS IF THE USUAL PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT OBSERVED!

That's it.

I have recently purchased an AXMINSTER "SK100" chuck, and considering the price of the product, I am satisfied with the standard set of jaws provided in the "Type C" package.

But sometimes I'm a little bit limited with these bits. That's when I go through the AXMINSTER catalogue looking for a suitable model.

My choice being made, I'm moving on to modeling... A few hours later (I'm not part of the game), here I am, making 2 new sets of bits !...

...Amazing !!! It's a crazy trick !!!

Here I am equipped with jaws perfectly adapted to my small filming projects. Too good.

I reserve these jaws for the turning of small parts or for the finishing of delicate parts which do not support the "TOO STRONG" clamps of the metal jaws, they are "SOFT Jaws" like those distributed by SORBY, VICMARC, NOVA, AXMINSTER...

Under no circumstances do I use these jaws to roughen or work on a regular part.

Model 1 inspired by the "Type D"

Model 2 inspired by the "Type H" one hair smaller, for my needs. That's why I call it XP :)

I modeled 4 other Types, the : "A", "H", "BF" and soft bit, if you want to :)

ENJOY!

EDIT 0109:

Hello,

Here are 2 new models, I couldn't resist...

Big jaws and a small pickup tray with filaflex studs

Only Bmol, my chuck wrench is too short to do clamping turns, it has to be done in several times :)

Enjoy!
