3D model description

This is a filament spool holder which can be a multi spool holder for more than 2 or 3 spools (picture 5). For the basic variant (picture 3) you need:

- 2x baseplates

- 2x walls

- 2x foot 1

- 1x foot 2

- 1x foot 3

- 1x shaft thing 1

- 1x shaft thing 2 (attention: self generated supports: the "wings of the rocket must remove please - just for a good print!!!)

- 2x shaft 3 (centering cone)

- 1x filament guide with filter (for 1.75 and 3 mm filament)

You also need a threaded rod M5, 2 nuts and 2 washers for more stability. It is located near the connection of the walls. You can see this in picture 5 a little bit. How long the threaded rod must be depends on the number of floors. For a second floor or spool holder you need 2 walls, 1 baseplate the shaft thinhgs and the filament guide. This was the description for the standing spool holder. You also can do it in the luying way(featured picture). For this you don´t need the foots but if you wish to make it safer you need 1x the "protection for lying construction". To build it please use the pictures as a plan.

3D printing settings

For printing I use my RepRapPro Ormerod 1.

Bed temperature: 57°C

Extruder temperature: 195°C

Infill: between 15 and 30%

The walls must be printed with supports.

Slicing software: Slic3r

layer height: between 0.4 and 0.1 mm
