3D model description

This is a support for the Mintion BeagleCam I designed for using the camera with photographic tripods, stands, arms (and so on) having the standard UNC 1/4" 20TPI screw.

You'll need the 1/4" Ruthex Brass Inserts for this =>

Pins for connecting into camera base are very delicate, so it's easy to break them. In the 3D printing sections there are some tips.

If you're italian and are interested in buying the BeagleCam, you can buy the camera from this affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3Ndcfqm so you can support me.

3D printing settings

First advice is printing this part using PETG or other stronger filaments.

Second advice is to use the "Support Blocker" feature of Cura or some other sort of variable infill feature if your slicer support this.

For Cura you can refer to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=su_m5zV9rvA

My advice is to fill the base at 15-20% and then start to fill at 100% from 13mm height so part of top and the whole pins will be completely filled. For Cura I put 3 images (scroll) for let you see dimensions, size, and setting I've used for the support blocker.

I used supports since top part of pins is very large respect the stem and my printers can't do this without supports, so at the end of the print you must polish very well the support.

At end of print you must insert the Ruthex Insert in the bottom hole.
